Singer 400 German Series Horizontal Spool Holder

This is a horizontal spool holder for vintage Singer model 401G Disclaimer: If you damage your sewing machine with this 3D print, I won't take any responsibility for it, use it with care and check the fitment on your machine, don't force the print on to the original pins. This 3D print is tested on 2 different 401G models, one older and newer one and works with both machines, there was slightly difference between two models pins but fitment is adjusted to fit both. The reason for this horizontal spool holder is the newer spools from factories like Gütermann thread spools, these are designed to be used on horizontal spool holders, at least that is my experience with them, on the vertical spool holder the spool jumps around if you sew fast with the machine, this horizontal spool holder is aligned with the first thread guide on the machine and the spool does not even spin, the thread glides off easily from the spool. This also should work with 411G, 421G, and 431G. But it won't work with the USA model 401A since the pins are not at same position, I can make one for 401A but I need the pins center to center measurement. On 401G the distance between pins is 85mm. PRINT WITH ABS or PETG, to avoid damage in the future, PLA wil change form after a while and can brake the original pins of the sewing machine. This attachment is easy to take it of when you are done, so when showcasing your sewing machine you can take it of and put it back on when you needed it again.
