Singapore Coin Sorter
thingiverse
I got the idea from a project on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3566479). Since no one had created a remix or version of SGD coins, I decided to make one for my own use. The design is relatively simple. However, separating the $1 and $0.50 coins cleanly proved impossible due to their similar dimensions: - New $1 coins are identical in size to old $0.50 coins (24.5 mm). - Old $1 coins are roughly the same size as new $0.50 coins (22.2 mm). To overcome this challenge, I divided the design into three layers: the top layer features $1 and $0.50 coins, the second layer includes $0.20 coins, and the base layer consists of $0.10 coins. The uploaded STL files are plain designs. Unfortunately, I did not release my customized version because it contains personal details. However, f3d files are included for users who want to customize their own SGD coin design.
