Sinew vase #2 (Pencil holder)
myminifactory
Second in a Series... Having created one vase now (Sinew vase #1) and really enjoying the results, I've been eager to get around to making another. I got myself some Inland green PETG - my first PETG ever - and I wanted to show it off, particularly with how clear it can be. A vase it is... or maybe something else? Dual Function So, actually, I really needed a pencil holder. Something I could put on display at my desk at work. I opened up OnShape and got right to work. I like the result but... I guess it still can be considered a vase? Use it as you like it - except... I guess purpose is also in the eye of the beholder. If this suits your fancy, please print, post your make, and maybe comment on how you plan on using it. Please keep your posts G-rated, however. And remember, while PETG might be (kinda) food-safe, 3D printed vessels are, as a rule, not. So, no, don't use this for food or drink, please. Please post your make! I love seeing what people make and how it turns out. If you have the time and actually make this, I would really appreciate you posting your make - it keeps me inspired. If you really, really like it... I do have a tip jar and I'll promise to put it towards more filament and not anything like basic necessities. If you want to support me and get GREAT filament at the same time, please visit Proto-Pasta using my affiliate link and get yourself some excellent HTPLA! God bless!
