Sinew vase #1

I'm always eager to learn new tools and techniques, which is why I decided to tackle OnShape and push the boundaries of what I normally create. My goal was to craft a "Twist Vase" that would be unlike anything I've made before. After experimenting with various options, I came up with a design that features two opposing twists, giving it an organic, sinew-like appearance. The asymmetry on one plane and symmetry on another creates a captivating effect that teeters between chaos and order. This vase is remarkably functional; while you may need to use a larger nozzle in conjunction with shorter layer heights for optimal results, it can indeed hold water. Check out this amusing video showcasing the vase's water-holding capabilities: https://youtu.be/WcyIUXXModY. If you appreciate my work, consider supporting me through my tip jar.
