Sine Thread, fast printable thread library.

OpenSCAD libraries for threads can take a long time, particularly if you require numerous threads on a screw. However, by approximating standard threads using sine waves and 2D functions, it is possible to extrude them quickly – just a couple of minutes will give a smooth thread suitable for use with metric fasteners. As the resolution of your print improves, so too does the accuracy of the thread. The scaling factor may need adjustment depending on your machine and print quality. This library uses lookup tables borrowed from the ISOThread.scad library by Trevor Moseley, and there are plans for future additions such as different screw heads.
