The animation was initially just an image, so a custom mechanism was created to bring it to life. The model was developed using Solidworks 2016 and rendered with Simlab Composer 8 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited in Virtualdub before being saved as AVI/X264 and BMP files. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format, while GIFs were created using PhotoScape. IrfanView was utilized for rendering edits, and both 3D-PDF and SIMLAB files were made animated. The model is available in multiple formats, including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 8, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, DWF, and FBX.
