Sinbad, a severely underweight yearling, was rescued along with his mother from neglectful conditions. He was rehomed as a young colt for handling purposes but eventually returned to Penny Farm, the Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Lancashire. Sinbad is now thriving in a permanent home with his adoptive family, where he competes in local showing events, dressage competitions, and jumping tournaments. His intricate design tells the epic story of the seven voyages of Sinbad the Sailor. The majestic sculpture was masterfully created by renowned artist Judy Boyt, inspired by the true tale of Lucas, a frozen foal abandoned on a cold winter night but rescued and nursed back to health by World Horse Welfare. Today, Lucas is a stunning sport horse with a beautiful coat and spirit to match. Artist Rob Williams brought Sinbad's inspiring story to life through this masterpiece sculpture, showcasing his artistic skills and dedication to the world of equine art. World Horse Welfare proudly acknowledges the support of Interaction Marketing & PR in making this project possible.
