Simucube 2 Thrustmaster Adapter
thingiverse
This adaptor allows you to securely attach a Thrustmaster wheel to a Simucube 2 quick release. It's engineered with 3 x 30mm steel standoffs that provide extra support, making the mount even stronger. Thick washers are strategically used to distribute the weight evenly. Standoffs can be found at this link: https://uk.farnell.com/ettinger/05-04-301/spacer-m4x30-vzk/dp/1466774 The diagonal hole is designed specifically for wires that need to reach the board inside the wheel. By connecting an Arduino, you can easily interface your wheel with a PC and utilize its buttons. I drew inspiration from this project: http://rr-m.org/blog/hacking-a-thrustmaster-tx-rw-gaming-wheel-with-arduino-uno-part-1/ To ensure maximum strength where it matters most, add a 100% infill region over the area where the bolts intersect - specifically where they change from 7mm to 16mm. This will create a solid plate that's perfectly suited for handling heavy loads.
