SimRuito Dash Mount for Fanatec DD1 / DD2
thingiverse
I did not like the mount that comes with the SimRuito Dash as it only allowed mounting the dash quite high in front of the monitor. I like my dash behind my wheel as you would find in a road car.The mount allows you to put your dash a lot lower while also avoiding contact to your wheelbase-shaft. Using the slots on the dash mount side you can adjust the height of the dash to your linking. The dash is hold firm by magnets but it can easily be removed. Magnets don't have to be glued in, they sit firm and flush, just make sure to press them in all the way.I have used a low profile UBS-C Adapter in combination with a non-angled USB-c cable, not sure it would work with the angled USB-C cable provided with the dash as it might interfere with the wheelbase. You will need: 14x Neodym Magnets 10mm x 3mm (10x5 would also work well but 10x3 is enough for me)2x Countersunk Hex Socket Screws for Base Mount M6x12 with about 12mm top diameter (e.g. https://www.amazon.de/Senkkopfschrauben-mit-Innensechskant-Senkschrauben-SC-Normteile®/dp/B07C6SM49V?th=1). 2x M5x12 Flat Head Screw for Dash Mount1x Low profile 90° USB-C Adapter, optional if cable provided with the dash cannot be used (e.g. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0C43KCY2V?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details)
