Simracing wheel AMG GT3 DIY
thingiverse
I created a replica of the GT3 AMG MERCEDES steering wheel for my Mige engine. I drew magnetic shifters connected to a Micro Arduino Pro, mounted them on a quick-release system. The steering wheel was cut into two parts to fit inside the Anet A8 tray, which is too small. It's covered with carbon adhesive and suede on the handles. The flywheel was printed in 100% PLA and it's extremely resistant on the engine with a lot of torque. I created the base of the quick-release support with space for integration of the Arduino inside. The bolts and nuts used are 3mm in diameter and 20mm, 30mm, etc., brake nut. WARNING: Make sure to scale the AMG logo piece at 96% in the slicer. The Anet A8 tray is too small for a standard steering wheel, so I had to cut it into two parts. It's covered with carbon adhesive and suede on the handles. It gives ideas for modifications and brings a smile to my face.
