Simracing Heel Cups
thingiverse
I didn't like the 90° angle on the back stop of the original one, so I changed it to 70° to allow for pushing the foot forward without "rolling" the heel over the top edge. Then a friend of mine wanted a version for his sim rig that he could mount directly to an alu profile, so I also created ones that could be screwed in place. One model with outer mounts and one with inner mounts and inlays to cover them. Depending on your print settings you might need supports for the inlays. The slots are designed for M8 screws. Use pan head screws (ISO 7380) for the "inner mount" version.I'd recommend to print at least with 3 walls where the screws are being mounted. After some testing I still found them a bit too big so I re-designed a smaller version from scratch which is both a bit lower and also narrower. There's also almost no flat section in the middle which in my opinion is more comfortable if you race without shoes. The small version is symmetrical, so just print it multiple times if you need more than one
