Summary There are numerous innovative projects on Thingiverse that utilize soda bottle threads, but our household has a distinct difference - we don't consume soda regularly. However, we occasionally opt for Simply brand juices, which are incredibly tasty. This led me to explore threads compatible with those bottles. These containers feature a wider mouth, expanding possibilities for applications such as animal feeders and similar projects. Before delving into these possibilities, let's examine the threads used by Simply brand juice bottles. Instructions To cater to different needs, I've created three variations of threads. It appears that Makerware might be adding material inside holes, causing discrepancies in measurements. To address this, I've included both subtracted and non-subtracted versions of each file. The first set of files represents the actual measurements, while the "internal" version is intended for subtracting. The "test" variant has already been subtracted, and the xxx_plus_one and xxx_plus_two variants feature holes with diameters 1mm and 2mm larger than the original. A photo showcases Simply_threads_test_plus_two.stl printed using Makerware at 2 shells and 10% infill. However, I cancelled the print before completion, so it may not be fully tall if allowed to finish printing.
