Made for FD-PLAST spool, but works well with any other diameter spool. First, cut the spool in two pieces. Next, insert hubs into each piece. Then, screw them together after inserting a filament spool. The inner diameter accommodates an 8mm rod without bearings. I made this for nylon fishing line because it doesn't dry properly when rewound. Sometimes you need to let it air dry before using it again. Consider making the thread part longer if needed.
