Simplistic Compass
thingiverse
I decided to make my own compass for school, so I needed a compass. It's a simple design that works really well and fits most pencils quite easily. Items Needed: 3 x Small M3 Bolts 1 x M3 Nut 1 x Small Washer 1 x M3 Wingnut (I used an old spare one from the heatbed on my Duplicator i3 printer) A small piece of rubber to provide friction between the two plastic pieces. I cut a piece from an old bicycle tube. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50% Notes: I printed this in ABS, but PLA works just as well if not even better.
