This one-way valve can be used in two distinct ways. First, attach the mouthpiece to blow air into a pipe while simultaneously restricting inhalation. Refer to Figure 1. Alternatively, fit the duplicate fitting over the mouthpiece to connect two pipes, allowing water flow in one direction only. Consult Figure 2 for assembly clarity. The two illustrations should provide sufficient guidance on assembly. This design has been optimized specifically for 3D printing, requiring no support structures. Individual parts can be printed and assembled by simply clicking them together. For optimal results, print at 100% infill with any layer height you prefer; I achieved a satisfactory outcome with 0.2mm layers. Full infill will prevent leaks from occurring. To ensure a secure connection when using water and pipes, apply glue to the outer parts after assembly. The pressure of water flow might otherwise disassemble the fitting from the mouthpiece. Two different sizes for the fittings are included: 3/4 and 5/8 inch hose sizes. The fitting's openings narrow as the pipe or hose is inserted deeper, creating a tight fit. A BB pellet or similar small ball should be used within the valve. When blown upon, the pellet becomes lodged in the grid, allowing flow to proceed. Conversely, when sucked upon, the pellet reverses into the opening, blocking flow entirely.
