Spacer for Mounting Simplisafe Doorbell Camera: Overcoming Brick Wall Blindspots To eliminate blind spots caused by brick walls, my previous doorbell's location on the frame was relocated to sit flush with the wall or shutters using a spacer. To assemble this project, four sets of #6x1/2" machine screws and nuts are required. I preferred not to use plastic threads, so I created pockets for the nuts to fit into, securing them in place with a dab of glue as the parts come together. By designing the body and cover side by side, they can be completed in a single session, streamlining the assembly process. Designed in Fusion360
