Simplified Mantis Claw

This is an updated version of the Mantis Claw posted by WhiteThorn (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1659427). I made some changes to reduce the number of parts needed and simplify assembly. Required Hardware (20) - #8-32 x 3/4 Machine Screws (20) - #8-32 Lock Nuts (1) - 1/4 Eye Bolt with at least 2 inches of thread (2) - 1/4 Lock Nuts When it comes to screws, try experimenting with different sizes. Since the holes are modeled at 5mm, a #10 screw should work fine, but I use #8 because my printer's resolution isn't high enough. I've also successfully used a 1/2 inch long screw with a standard nut and Loctite. If you ever need to remove the screws, use blue Loctite for easier removal. Update - 9/14/2016: I added a new main assembly with a recess in the bottom that's large enough for an 18mm diameter washer and deep enough for a nut and washer to fit completely inside, so the nut won't hit whatever you're trying to pick up.
