Simplified E3D V6 compatible X carriage for 3Dtje Mini 3D Printer- Remixed with endstop support
thingiverse
As I don't own stepper drivers that are advanced enough to operate without endstops, I've modified part of fiveseven808's upgraded 3dtje x carriage to incorporate a x-carriage screw (specifically an M3x20) provision, thus hopefully allowing an X-axis endstop to be utilized. The positioning of the screw is based on that in the original 3dtje design, although only roughly approximated. The new part functions with the original "hotend_v2_cut_standalone.stl" provided in fiveseven808's design and replaces the second half of the hotend mount provided in the "hotend_v2_cut.stl" file. Please note that while the mount has been tested with a E3D V6 hotend for fit, as pictured, and was successful at that point, it is not a perfect fit. Neither was the original design, though. This has not been tested on an actual 3dtje yet, as mine's only half-finished. Therefore, while it will probably work, I cannot be certain just yet. I have also included the FreeCAD file used to create this design if anyone wishes to improve upon it.
