The modified X carriage simplifies the process of adjusting the X belt by allowing easier tightening using a screw. This part is derived from the original RepRapPro design and is compatible with the RepRapPro Tricolour Mendel 3D printer at Telefab. An alternative belt clamp has been created by JamesT42. To use this modified X carriage, print one x-carriage-mod and two small x-carriage-belt pieces. Secure these parts in place using a screw and washer, tightening as needed. If necessary, add a small piece of belt with teeth facing each other to ensure a snug fit. Assembly instructions remain the same as for the default part.
