simplehuman Dish Rack foot - longer

After several years, the drainboard for simplehuman's wire frame dish rack begins to sag and no longer drains water efficiently. To address this issue, a replacement foot has been designed, measuring 0.5" longer than the original to provide a steeper slope and improved draining performance. Two or three feet will be required, depending on how the dish rack is used. The design mimics the overall shape of the original item, but does not attempt to recreate it exactly. A non-commercial license has been selected out of respect for simplehuman's interest in their design. To print this replacement foot, a Monoprice Select Mini 15365 printer can be used with the following settings: * No rafts * No supports * Resolution: 0.06mm (standard) * Infill: 20% Cura has been used to slice the file, and the nozzle size is set to 0.4mm. The layer height is 0.06mm, shell thickness is 1.6, bottom/top thickness is 1.2, and a 10-line brim has been applied. To install the new feet, the original feet must be removed without damaging the drainboard. This can be achieved by using two table knives to carefully pry the original foot away from its position. The new feet can then be easily pushed into place with their smooth side facing outwards. The design of this replacement foot was created through careful measurements taken with a caliper, and a FreeCad file is available for anyone who would like to make adjustments or reverse-engineer the design.
