I designed a gear plate for an older 58-liter trash can with sensor, which came in handy when mine broke and simplehuman couldn't replace it, so I took matters into my own hands and made one myself. While the result is still somewhat rough around the edges due to a slightly imperfect seal on the lid, anyone needing a more refined version is welcome to let me know.
