This small extension significantly reduces my workload and eliminates the need for a hex key when adjusting. By remixing it, I have positioned the switch at the same height as the bed, making it more convenient for me (and possibly others) to use. To initiate z-adjustment, I employ a straight edge stretched from the bed. Notably, the m nut remains on the lower side, similar to the original design. For ease of use, place the screw head at the bottom, allowing various knobs to be fitted. The spring, washers, and nut are borrowed from the original adjustment, accompanied by a longer 35mm M3 screw. Additionally, I've added an LED to the switch's no-contact point. On my machine, the common is grounded, so the LED connects from the middle contact via a resistor to V+. Activating the z-home function now illuminates the LED.
