I designed this custom part for my snowboard boots using Cinema4D since I lost the original one. This versatile part can be utilized in various applications and comes in different sizes. Its simplicity, strength, and efficiency make it ideal for automatically securing laces. For optimal performance, a 0.5 mm diameter shoelace is recommended. To assemble this part, you'll need a 2 cm long spring with a 4 to 4.5 mm radius (an old pen can be a suitable source) and a thin bolt that's 1.5 cm long and has a 3 mm diameter, along with a slightly larger head, approximately 4 to 4.5 mm in size.
