simple yarn winder and dispinser

This is a simple yarn winder and dispenser I know that there are spool winders ben looking at them and ben wanting one but there is a few issues that I just cant get past winding yarn this way. there is even one hear on thingyverse to build problem 1 the spool dia would make winding take a long time to rewind a spool. problem 2 using these spools would require the yarn to come off straight up of the yarn or on a separate peg for it to rotate off. my knitting machine does not have a yarn spring tension for the yarn to come straight up off of the spool,yarn has to come from the floor since I do not have a knitting table yet. while those are not real big issues I needed a faster way to wind yarn and winding on those flat cardboard ones winds extremely fast but when you try to use one with my knitting machine it winds up being half way across the room and yea I can just put it in a bowl or something like that. this yarn winder dispenser solves all of the above issues in one big "I WIN AGAIN" statement. mount on a piece of wood and use a piece of 1.75mm filament as a hing pin,there are screw holes for screws but I have mine mounted using hot glue only because I was still experimenting and did not want to drill holes yet till the design was completely working seems to hold it down pretty good
