Simple "wood" moulding

thingiverse

I grabbed a piece of wooden moulding to reinforce a little section of plasterboard ceiling in my closet. Sadly, the available lengths of moulding were just a few millimeters too short for what I required. Rather than purchasing nearly double the amount of moulding I really needed, I duplicated its profile and printed out a small version using PLA filament. After sanding it down and giving it a coat of paint, it looked virtually indistinguishable from the wooden parts.
