Simple Wine Bottle Tag
thingiverse
This is a simple wine bottle tag ideal for any wine enthusiast's cellar or kitchen wine selection. The file Wine-Bottle-Tag-v2.stl contains the colored plastic tag design. Use Blender to edit the .blend file and modify the text you want displayed on the tag, then export your customized text as an STL at 1,000x scale - this is crucial. To do this, simply export "Selected Only" from Blender. There are several sample STL files of texts that I've used in the past. Of course, you'll want to replace these with your own wine type and district for a personalized touch. Next, import the base plate file and your customized text STL file into your slicer software. Merge these two files into one object, then print as two different colors. If your printer allows direct two-color printing, great - otherwise, there's a clean layer break when you switch to a new color. For red wines, I recommend printing white text on a dark red plate for a striking contrast; for whites, I found that printing dark green text against a light turquoise plate works beautifully.
