A 3D printed bookshelf design uses standard 2x4 wood that is 18cm long, 9.2cm wide, and 1cm thick, divided into four pieces to create a double wall-mounted bookshelf. Therefore, it's recommended to use a higher infill density (around 50-70%) for support structures and to use a brim or raft to ensure proper adhesion to the build plate. Additionally, supports should be placed strategically and removed carefully to minimize the risk of damage to the part, PLA prints are not as heat-resistant as ABS, so it's not recommended to use it for support structures that will be exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
