Simple vintage look knife
sketchfab
I crafted a knife from a mixed reference found online. Recently, I've rekindled my passion for 3D modeling, and this is my third textured model created to date. However, this is the only one that has met my expectations. To create the model, I employed Blender 2.8. For texturing, I utilized Quixel Suite 2.0 DDO. When it came to retopology, I opted for a point-by-point technique. This approach allowed me to optimize the geometry and exercise precise control over the structure and shading, resulting in a more accurate representation compared to simplifying and merging edges, which can lead to approximations of the model's actual shape.
