Simple Vertical Laptop Stand

Simple Vertical Laptop Stand

I designed this simple laptop stand in Fusion 360 and manufactured mine on a laser cutter using 3mm plywood. You can also 3D print these parts with the provided STL files and DXF files. To assemble it, you'll need two legs and two braces that I cut from a single 200x200mm sheet of plywood, then glued together with superglue. If you prefer to 3D print the stand, consider printing all four parts at once, depending on your printer's bed size. My stand is quite sturdy and holds my laptop at a slight angle, perfect for keeping the screen open while still in the stand. Before assembling the stand, measure your laptop's dimensions carefully, as the pocket that holds it is 30mm deep. I'm using a 15" Lenovo Ideapad with this stand, but you may need to adjust the design slightly if your laptop has different dimensions.
