Simple velux opening blocker
thingiverse
Take out the rod that holds the Velux in place to determine the optimal position for yourself. Identify the hole and then secure the support with a screw. I've been using three of these units daily for two years, and they hold up remarkably well. The PLA material resists wear and tear (even when subjected to the weight of the Velux, which can cause it to close itself). I'm reprinting one for a friend, and I thought I'd share this design on Thingiverse. This print takes about 20 minutes. Give it a try! As always, please don't hesitate to post your print. Sharing your work with creators like me is a kind gesture that costs nothing!
