Simple vase with spun facets
thingiverse
I've produced a series of these models now, typically printing them at a height of approximately 250mm on my Rostock delta. The base is designed intentionally wide and the main volume low in order to prevent tipping. Experiment with scaling the Z-axis to create either a short and sturdy version for large, full flowers or a tall and slender one for more delicate blooms with individual petals. Please note that this is a design specifically for "vase printing", so set the printer to a single perimeter, 3-5 base layers, and no top layers. I find that adjusting the nozzle setting to roughly double its standard value enhances adhesion. Additionally, reducing speed by half allows the increased pressure to be compensated, producing an excellent print.
