Simple USB security lock
thingiverse
This is a simple USB port lock that keeps people from removing a usb plug from its charger/port. To install, follow the pictures above: first insert the lock into an empty USB slot with the two teeth facing down - these two teeth lock into the bottom of the USB port. Then, install your USB plug into the port. Next, attach a zip tie between the grooves on the back of the lock; be sure to install it in a place where the cord won't wiggle in or out. Usually, there's an extra jacket you can zip right behind. When in place, a user will not be able to pull the USB port out without cutting the zip tie. This won't stop a determined thief but is more than enough to deter your average user/patron/family member from messing about with things they shouldn't. Make sure you use your slicer's bridge settings for best results. The original lock works great for USB plugs and most things, but some desktops have an extra mm or so between the plug and the socket. Use the "long" version if the regular ones' teeth can't quite reach the sockets' indents.
