Print all parts on it's side. Print the (optional) biscuits laid flat on print surface. No supports needed. Biscuits are optional and would probably need sanding or it would be almost impossible to fit. Joining the 2 main parts together is rigid enough to not require biscuits slotted at the bottom of the base. Print list for a pair of spool holder 2x Female base 2x Male base 4x Bearings 1x Biscuits (**Optional** print laid flat instead of standing & all 3 biscuits should be in the file) **Important!**: My prints have tight tolerances, so print with higher quality or it you'll have more post-process work (sanding). - The clearance between the shaft (surface that is outer most of the female part) and the bearing is 0.3mm (or maybe it's 0.6mm...). It's plently enough room to spin freely. - The clearance between the female and male shaft parts is 0.8mm and should fit snug but not hard to pull apart. This print is friction fitted. - The rounded half circle on either male or female parts should **not** warp at least not warping inwards causing friction with the bearing. The 90 degree corners at the base can be warped a little; it won't affect the function. - The side to side clearance between the bearing and a main part is 0.4mm, or 0.2mm each side if centered. - Print with 0.2mm layer quality because it's designed with that in mind so there are no non-full height layers where it might be affect the function The spool holder doesn't need to be very strong so I set the number of perimeters and solid layers to be minimal that I'm comfortable with like 2 and 3s and 10% infill. Even 5% infill is probably good enough. Settings: 0.2mm layer height 2 vertical perimeters 3 solid horizontal top layer 3 solid horizontal bottom layer 10% infill gyroid
