Simple toy Jet Fighter
thingiverse
This is a simple wooden toy laser-cut from 1/8 inch plywood, glued together, and painted up nice. I designed this for my two-year-old to paint and have fun with. To build it, cut out one of each of the .dxf files, scaled in millimeters, from 1/8 inch plywood. The "cockpit" and "engines top" pieces glue onto the top of "main", and "bottom" glues to the bottom of "main". I used a pair of clamps to make sure the "bottom" and "main" pieces stayed stuck together at both ends while drying out. Finally, the "tailfin" pieces glue into the two rectangular slots at the back of "main". Sand it down and smooth it out to your liking. I wrote about this thing over at lasercut.blue.
