Simple torque arm for powerful e-bike hubmotors
thingiverse
This is a straightforward torque arm that I built for my DIY e-bike, which is powered by a robust 500W direct drive hub motor since another design I ordered didn't fit properly.\r\n\r\nYou'll need to fine-tune the axle angle matching to your bike's specifications. I recommend printing this out in PLA first to get an accurate match with your frame before sending over a DXF file for laser cutting or water jet cutting in durable stainless steel. The image included demonstrates how the torque arm looks when lasered from 6 mm stainless steel.
