Simple top spool setup for your Kossel

A Simple yet Effective Solution for Your Kossel. A Relatively Easy Way to Reduce the Footprint of Your Kossel. I Have Been Using It for Two Months Now and Really Enjoy It. Needed Parts: -Spool Holder - Extension Cable for E-Motor (Minimum 1 Meter) Mounting E Motor at Top Frame: You Can Use the Stock Mounting Plate. Rotate the Extruder as Necessary (the Stock Extruder is Quite Easy to Assemble or Disassemble). Be Mindful of the Cable Position of the Motor. Mount the Motor as Far to the Side as Possible, Giving Your Bowden Tube More Room That Way. Extension Cable E-Motor: Depending on Where the Motor and Main Board Are Positioned, You Will Need a Cable of at Least 1 Meter. A Length of 1.5 Meters is More Comfortable. You Can Conceal the Cable in the Nearest Tower or Vertical Frame (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3210060 Is Ideal for This). Spool Holder: The Included Spool Holder is Designed Specifically for This Setup. The Angle and Length Are Adjusted to Prevent the Filament from Touching the Frame. The Spool Holder Is Easy to Remove and Adjust (When Not Secured with a M4 Bolt and T-Nut). There Is Also a Flipped Version If You Prefer the Setup on the Right Side of the Frame. A Double Setup Is Possible Using Both Types of Spool Holders. The Bed Width is 95mm, So Every 1-Kg Spool Will Fit. Bowden Tube: It Works with the Stock Bowden Tube. The Minimum Length for AC-Kossel LP (Coupler to Coupler) Is Approximately 60 Cm. I Am Using 65 Cm, Which Is a Little Longer Than Needed. If You Are Uncertain, Start with 70 Cm. Optional Offset Plate for E-Motor: You Don't Need This Part If You Are Using the Included Spool Holder. However, If You Prefer to Use a Different One, the Filament May Touch the Frame, and This Plate Can Be a Solution. Also, It Is a Little More Comfortable for Changing the Filament If the Extruder Has a Slight Offset from the Frame. You Can Use the Included One (Offset 20 Mm) or Create Your Own Using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3024446. There Is an Option Included for M4 Inserts and Another for M4 Bolts and Nuts. Pros: - Much Smaller Footprint - Easier Filament Change - The Spool Holder is Reusable for Other Printers and Setups Cons: - Total Setup is Higher (with Spool Around 1 Meter) - Bowden Tube Sticks Out More Without Further Adjustments
