SIMPLE TO PRINT: Sample Gear Ratio 2:1 Example
thingiverse
These are two very simple gears, built on a basic framework. They are straightforward to print, and printing time should be approximately one hour long. In essence, these gears illustrate a 2:1 gear ratio. Each time the larger gear rotates, the smaller gear turns twice as often. I have been fascinated with designing gears and this is my initial attempt. If necessary, I can provide Solidworks files for modification purposes.
