I made this want to go along with my kids dress-up costumes.  The star and the handle are printed separately then I glued them together with a little bit of super glue.  The handle has a flare at the base so it can stand upright.  I printed the handle with a 3mm brim, but because of the wide base I think it would print OK without it.
