Simple Spoolholder 3dpn design contest

A spoolholder designed for 3D printing enthusiasts participating in a design contest, this device is engineered to be simple to install without obstructing the spools on its rack. It mounts atop the outer beam and clicks into place behind the inner beam. The spoolholder prints easily without support structures and remains surprisingly strong despite its compact size. I printed it using a 0.2mm layer height, two perimeters, and 20% infill in PLA filament, effortlessly holding a one-kilogram spool attached to my makeshift wooden beam. It securely snaps onto the spool rack and is just as easily removed when needed.
