Simple Spool Holder for Acrylic Frame (Prusa i3)

I needed a straightforward, robust filament spool holder for my Prusa i3. This design works flawlessly. I print two supports and secure a M8 or 5/16 threaded rod across the top – it's now ready to go. To keep the spool centered, I use a few 628ZZ bearings, washers, and nuts. The M8 / 5/16 rod easily slides in and out for effortless spool swapping. I've also included my cable holder for good measure. It conveniently keeps a 1/2" braided sleeve neatly tucked away.
