Simple spool holder for 3DPN's 1x2" shelf, optional bearings and screws
myminifactory
Keeping it simple, a basic arm for mounting a standard roll of filament on a shelf made out of 1x2" wood. The design can be used as printed or two standard 608 skateboard bearings can be added to sit on the printable bearing rods and allow for smoother rotation of the spool. This is designed to be easily printable on all printers, and can be moved to different locations on the shelf without difficulty, although it can also be fixed in place using the two screw holes on the rear. #highfive Update: A shorter version of the bearing rod has been added because the original was a bit too tight. The size of the end piece has also been reduced as it was noticed to be a bit tight on some spools. The updated version is available in shelf-spool-holder-v2-smaller.stl.
