Simple Spool Holder

Simple Spool Holder

A practical printer's spool holder for shelves and hutches fits neatly onto undersized shelves with minimal strain, though scaling up could provide more wiggle room if desired. Two spools can fit comfortably in this minimalist design or alternatively, print it on a larger scale for additional room to breathe. For a firm connection, fasten the top plate into place via the pre-drilled hole on a wooden shelf by simply screwing it tight or employ zip ties securely around metal shelving. If notches and hook are more suitable, tie it firmly to the shelf, threading the rear for added support. Print without support at your own pace although consider including a raft if you wish, my printout turned out fantastic at 0.3 mm precision though. Firstly, mount each end to your shelf after printing has concluded. Simply snap the bar in place as your spool remains securely on it while utilizing the flat edge for smooth gliding and seamless rod fitting with ease of snapping both sides into position without excessive strain.
