Simple Snap Poke Ball
thingiverse
Simple snap-together Pokeball for costumes, etc. I designed for simplicity, and fast assembly, since Halloween is less than a week away. (My kid needs 6 of these for his costume... Really? Six?!) Anyway... Print the top & bottom rotated with circular edge facing down with support. Rotate the band, button and button frame so no support is needed. Print the top in red, bottom & button in white, band & button-frame in black. All parts snap together. There is a small hole at the bottom for mounting if needed. BTW... Thanks to Dan Royer and Donald Papp over at Hackaday.com who published the idea of crush ribs to make tight fitting parts easier without endless resizing and printing! I remembered their article, and put one on the button. It's that little triangular rib on the top side. Worked like a charm! I'll definitely use in future designs. The Poke Ball Holder is just a tri-armed frame to screw the Poke Balls to for costumes. The longest arm has a larger hole at the tip for a wire or paracord loop.
