Simple Smartphone Holder Webcam
thingiverse
Hello everyone, Due to recent circumstances, webcam prices have skyrocketed and delivery times have become increasingly lengthy. To address this issue, I've designed a straightforward smartphone monitor holder. This device allows users to insert their phone sideways and then adjust it to the perfect viewing angle. Your phone can be between 60mm and 75mm wide, with a maximum thickness of 11mm. The entire device consists of four distinct parts that can be printed without support. Additionally, you'll need an M6x70 thread screw and nut, as well as two attachments (left and right), a spacer, and a base. I've tailored the holder to fit a Dell U2415 monitor, which measures 25mm in thickness. Due to varying monitor sizes, I've included three different base options: 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm. Please ensure you print the correct base for your specific monitor. To connect your phone to your PC, I use the free Android app "IP Webcam" by Pavel Khlebovich. This app streams video signals into your local network, allowing you to easily add it as a webcam in applications like Skype. If you find this app useful, please consider supporting the developer. EDIT: I've added two more attachment models (left and right) to support phones up to 80mm wide. These are labeled as "LONG VERSION".
