Simple SeeMeCNC EZR Struder Mount for AM8, 2020 Extrusion Printer, etc.
thingiverse
This mount fits perfectly with the SeeMeCNC EZR Struder and 2020 Aluminium Extrusion. I based this design on pheneeny's AM8 printer, which can be found on Thingiverse. You may not need this mount if you have extra M4 Hammer Nuts for 2020 lying around. These nuts allow you to attach the extruder directly to an aluminum profile without needing a separate mount. However, M5 versions are more common where I live, so I designed this mount to meet my needs. The parts required include: * 2 x M5 10mm Screws * 2 x Square M5 Nuts or Slot Hammer 2020 M5 Nuts * 2 x M4 Screws (These are usually included in the extruder kit, but you can replace them with shorter screws if preferred) V1 of this mount is not compatible with Nylock nuts from the kit. This is because a single screw is enough to keep everything secure, so I designed V2 and V3 to accommodate these nuts while making them twice as thick. I only print V1 mounts, but I will test it on my second printer later. Note: There is a rectangular hole at the bottom of this mount. Depending on the print orientation, support structures might be required.
