Simple Screw Press

Simple Screw Press

thingiverse

Normally I start my texts with "I needed something, so I made it" but this time... I didn't need a screw press. But I built one anyway ... and now I'm wondering why...?\r\n\r\nI was messing around with my CAD system and designing printable threads when this simple press popped out of my printer. I have no idea what to do with this thing right now. Currently, I'm using it as a nutcracker. Perhaps you can also use it to press-in or press-out ball bearings?\r\n\r\nThe press body is a two-piece design that can be easily modified if you need a special shape. Simply bolt the other half in place.\r\nThe small bolts are M10, while the large one is M20.\r\n\r\nI printed this press with three walls and 30% infill at 0.2 layers. It's robust enough for nuts, I think.
