The cover should improve aerodynamics slightly and allow decent airflow to be directed onto the motor. It's not a perfect fit, but neither is my foam build. I added a tab on the back to push into the front of the fuselage and secure it in place. I'll also use a few dabs of hot glue on the bottom to hold it firmly. This cover is designed for an E-Max XA2112 980KV motor. The STEP file is included so you can modify it to your needs using CAD software. I printed the cover at 0.3mm layer height with support structures in place. The rough surface was largely due to my support settings and printing technique.
