Simple Blade Cover for Scalpels Like No. 3. Customizable for Other Tool Handles. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer Model: TAZ 5 Rafts: Yes Supports: Not Required Resolution: 0.27mm Notes: This part is printed upright with the opening facing the bed, ensuring a snug fit on your tool handle. Post-Printing Fitting Your Handle If your 3D print doesn't come out perfectly accurate or if you've measured your tool handle incorrectly, don't worry! Simply heat your tool handle with a lighter or torch and press the blade cover onto it. Let it cool down, and it should fit snugly without coming loose. Optional Adjustment: To make this part more flexible and easier to install, try printing it with a thin wall using only 2-3 shells of filament (calculated based on your nozzle size). This will allow the part to flex when you put it onto the blade. Marking Your Part I have multiple tool holders with different blades for various purposes. To avoid confusion when grabbing the wrong blade, I've traced the outline of each blade onto the sides of the cover using a non-erasable pen.
