Simple Robot Arm
cults3d
The objective of this robot arm is to simplify its assembly, it only requires screws and accessories provided with the servomotors. Its role is also to be as simple as possible in its design and programming for educational purposes and discovery of robotics, the links are visible and their movements observable. It requires: 1x Servo standard size it will be screwed to the turret through a long arm standart on star which are both supplied with the servos. 3x 9gr servos, ideally one of intermediate quality to support the load of both arms (it is housed in the turret). Only the accessories and screws supplied with these servos will be used. The clamp consists of a fixed jaw and a mobile jaw. 4 points of fixation for a better stability of the base. Programming part : 1x Arduino R3 board 2x XY joystick (the use of 4 potentiometers instead is possible) The code using the Servo.h library and allowing to visualize in a simple way what the program does in the loop. The angle increments are 3 degrees, you can change them if you want to focus on the speed of movement or precision.
