Simple ring with text

I made some adjustments to the file to add a customizable layer on the outer surface of the ring. I'm grateful to Benjamen Johnson for designing the original piece, and sorry again for my comments in the script being in German. I assume that the details in this size may be too fine for an FDM machine, but I'll give it a try anyway and post a make if it's successful. If you have an SLA printer (which I don't), this could be a great gift for your loved ones. When printing with an FDM machine, I recommend using ABS/ASA and then refining the surface with the acetone method. The file remains fully customizable in all directions, so feel free to choose any name or word you like - I just used "Alex" as an example. If you use too many characters, the writing will become distorted, but you'll figure that out on your own. Let me know if you like this idea and don't hesitate to share your makes!
